Third Edition
2022
The "Giulio Andreolli Making Landscape Award" is a triennial selection of works, projects, and initiatives implemented in the Alpine region, promoted by the Landscape Observatory of the Autonomous Province of Trento in collaboration with Tsm|step, School for Land and Landscape Governance.
Now in its third year, the Award represents an important opportunity to reflect on the value of landscape by selecting projects and initiatives that stand out for the high quality of their objectives in protecting, managing, and enhancing the landscape in the Alpine region. These projects fall within three thematic areas: programming, planning, and management initiatives, landscape features, culture, education, and participation.
The jury, chaired by landscape architect Andreas Kipar (Studio Land), and composed of international experts Paolo Castelnovi (Landscapefor), Costanza Pratesi (FAI–Fondo Ambiente Italiano), and Michaela Wolf (Technische Hochschule - Rosenheim), evaluated the projects and initiatives with specific references to innovation and sustainability, participation, and awareness-raising.
