The project interprets and documents in direct and non-rhetorical terms some landscape structures typical of the alpine world, linked to the management of mountain farming and breeding activities. The inseparable connection between places and the people that manage them is the common thread linking the different stages of this initiative. These documentary films return to the viewersa non-refined dimension of the places of alpine rurality where the creators of those landscapes narrate directly and without filters or contrasting interpretations their life experiences, their pride in their social role, and the difficulties they encounter in their everyday life. Places full of fascination and values, that are the result of professional and existential choices that are sometimes experienced in continuity with a rooted family tradition and in other cases are real personal adventures to conquer new horizons of life. The undeniable mastery of film-making shown by the author together with an ability to correctly interpret the landscape from an anthropological perspective, result in a valuable work of documentation that wonders about the future of alpine mountain landscapes, showing with realism the contradictions, difficulties and opportunities of places and people that fight to assert their central role.
